Welcome To The Ginger Cow Company

An Idyllic East Yorkshire Farm Experience

One Family, One Farm, One Mission

At ‘The Ginger Cow Company’ we are keen to provide a real rural getaway right here in the heart of the East Riding of Yorkshire. We are ideally positioned for exploring, with us being nestled at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds with historic York, the North York Moors and coastal resorts all also within easy reach.

In a rustic yet beautiful setting, our Teashop serves locally and home produced delicious food, made fresh every day using only the best local producers unique and artisan foods. We will be endeavouring to sell much of what we serve for you to take home including bread, cakes, jams, preserves and chutneys. Additionally we are selling locally made gifts and crafts, which are on sale in our ‘Shop in a Shed’. Cream teas are also served giving you the chance to sample Wendy’s beautiful scones and of course our locally produced, delicious home made ice cream.

Early in 2016 we will also be offering a unique opportunity to relax, unwind and have fun whilst staying in our high quality shepherd hut. Here you will be able to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life to spend time on ‘Long Meadow Farm’ and experience much of what nature has to offer.

Alongside our resident Highland cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, ponies, Llamas, ducks and chickens you will have the chance to see much of what the local wildlife has to offer. Countless numbers of birdlife reside in the area, alongside deer, squirrels and far too many rabbits.
