The Ginger Cow offers two unique and private options for an idyllic, rural escape in the heart of the East Yorkshire. The first is our original Shepherd’s Hut, which offers everything you need for a luxurious and relaxing stay. Or there’s our new, beautiful hand painted Gypsy Wagon. Both are tucked away in their own private gardens with hot tubs, and are perfect for exploring the Yorkshire Wolds; a beautiful area and close to many amenities, attractions, scenic walks and cycle routes.
The Shepherd’s hut is dog friendly too, so you can bring them along for your stay!

At the Ginger Cow Company we offer luxury holiday accommodation in our beautiful Shepherd’s hut and unique Gypsy Wagon. They are sited in the heart of our small holding, amongst the wildlife who live on Long Meadow Farm and in sight of our beautiful Highland Cattle, Valais Blacknose Sheep and cheeky goats who you can meet during your stay with us.
Our bespoke accommodation, which has been craftsman built, includes a full size double bed and is perfect for a relaxing getaway. Set in its own private fenced garden and tucked away on our small farm, both feature an outdoor, undercover gas BBQ area and hot tub, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the local area.
The Shepherd’s hut is perfect for visits with 2-3 guests and we welcome well-behaved dogs, or our Gypsy Wagon is perfect for a quiet getaway for 1-2 guests nestled in the trees at the top of the farm, it’s the perfect private spot for getting away from it all (but due to its layout, we don’t allow pets for stays in the Gypsy Wagon)
