Here at the Ginger Cow, we offer private hire and catering at our beautiful venue, which includes sole use of the inside space and beautiful gardens, private car parking and a range of catering options that can be tailored to your needs. We pride ourself on making sure everything about your event is perfect; whether it’s an intimate wedding reception, hen party, anniversary or child’s birthday party, we offer something for everyone.
The Ginger Cow can seat up to 40 people inside, or for more relaxed events, we can accommodate larger groups. Our peaceful gardens, overlooking the Wolds, also come as part of the venue hire and when the weather permits, provides a beautiful place to celebrate outside. With food options from buffets and afternoon teas, to BBQs and fine dining, we can make planning your perfect event easy.
If you’re thinking of a larger gathering, you can also hire the space to add your own marquee. Or perhaps add a bouncy castle or children’s play area.
Here at the Ginger Cow Company, we serve homemade, freshly prepared food that’s locally sourced from some of the best local producers. We pride ourselves on catering for everyone, and we are happy to tailor our freshly-made food to any dietary requirements. As well as gluten free options, we offer vegan choices, and can happily accommodate any other dietary requirements.

Outside Catering
We also offer a range of outside catering options for events that you’re planning elsewhere. We offer a wide range of buffets, afternoon teas and other options to suit your function and budget, and can tailor our offering so it’s exactly what you’re looking for. Free delivery within 8 miles, and delivery further afield can be arranged.
Vintage Crockery Hire
We’re also really excited to now offer hire of our beautiful selection of vintage china. Perfect for garden parties, celebrations, afternoon teas and much more… Our hire service allows your event to look beautiful, without any of the hassle. Simply order from us and return it dirty, and we’ll do all the washing up afterwards! We can hire everything from tea sets and cake stands to cutlery and champagne flutes.
